This opal has so. much. fire. It's like a forbidden candy. Colorful and playful, and I haven't even mentioned the diamonds yet. And they are equally as special since they're old european cuts. This is an antique ring that just keeps giving! I also wanted to point out that the opal has a matte appearance more than a polished surface. I think this was intentional rather than through wear, because it's exceptionally even across the stone. In this case, it disperses the fire of the opal in the most beautiful and mysterious way. I could spend hours trying to capture it through photos, just for pleasure.
